À propos

I apologise for using English but my French is still very poor so I hope you'll forgive me.

I have owned several boats over the last 65 years, from Wayfarers to Flying Dutchmans, from a Beneteau 323 to a Hunter 41DS with which I crossed the Atlantic in 2014, from Cap d'Agde, bumping into Guadeloupe.

Living in Guadeloupe I found Canquin, a prototype "One Ton Cup, designed by Ron Holland for the 1976 One Ton Cup. She was the first French boat across the line and 7th Overall.

I found her in Martinique in a very sorry state and I completely renovated her into a fast cruiser. Regretfully my wife was not a fan as she was very wet boat in any kind of weather. I loved her.

Now at 80, I have decided to quit owning a boat but I still would like to be involved within the sailing community, hence my desire to join your yacht club.

I look forward to meeting you.
