It was one of those endless, drizzly Tuesday nights. You know the kind. The world outside the window is just a blur of wet streetlights and the sound of tires on asphalt is this steady, shushing noise that makes everything feel even quieter inside. I was scrolling through my phone, bored out of my skull, bouncing between social media apps that all felt like the same recycled content. I’d paid my bills, I’d done the dishes, and there was nothing on TV. That’s when I remembered an ad I’d seen earlier in the day, something flashy and bright. Took me a second to dig through my browser history, but I found it. I figured, what the hell, a few minutes…
